Our GPS can guide you to a place or activity listed on CaraMaps very simply:
When you're using the application and consulting the details of an area, click on ‘Get there’ and then select the CaraMaps GPS.
You can also use the search bar to enter an address or GPS coordinates as your destination. Finally, you can select your destination directly by clicking on the map. In the same way, click on ‘Get there’ and then select CaraMaps GPS.
You will then see a detailed summary of your journey and be able to choose between 2 routes. ⤵️
- Click on ‘Settings’ to choose the options for your route: Avoid motorways, tolls, tunnels, etc.
- By clicking on ‘Vehicles’, you can enter the characteristics and dimensions of your vehicle so that the GPS can adapt the route to your vehicle's size. You only need to do this once, as the application remembers this information.
Finally, click on ‘Launch route’ to begin your journey. During your drive, you'll be warned in real time of any speed limits, and can take advantage of voice guidance and the 3D map display for greater precision.
